


"In the series Early Places, I photograph physical details that are at the heart of my earliest memories, and that remain largely unchanged... These pictures serve as a type of evidence. My motivation is based somewhat in fear - that my memory will fail me without these photographic documents. But I also wish to celebrate these small, lasting things around me that hold such intimate and powerful memory."
I feel like I have access to his memories, without actually knowing what they are. It's a strange, intimate feeling.
